We added new pin-mounted reverse channel letters to this building and replaced the polycarbonate faces for the cabinet sign with new laminated digital prints. For the hallway sign a pattern was traced of the semi-circle area and the sign was made 2″ smaller all around to allow the colored light to hit the wall. We added RGB lights inside and to the back, able to change to 256 colors, enclosed in a very shallow cabinet with the remote controller mounted outside of the cabinet, in the attic. White polycarbonate over the routed face diffuses the light. We even removed the lower trim and cleaned up the drywall. Big first impression when you walk into their new showroom!

This was a cool one, a single piece routed high-density urethane sign with a textured wood grain finish and raised lettering/border. It really fits the barn! This custom painted sign will hold up to the weather for many years and looks like real wood. HDU signs can be nearly any shape and size. Call us today to discuss designs for your customized HDU sign.

This 10-foot tall set of non-illuminated channel letters was mounted on four aluminum tubing rails during fabrication, painted to match the Pantone color of the wall collected during our survey. We just took care of installation for this one. We also installed PVC lettering (SHOWROOM), cut vinyl on the front doors, dock numbers and a delivery entrance sign. This site was in Louisville and we will be working on two more sites for this customer in Pennsylvania.

Always a pleasure to work with the folks at TradeLane Properties, completing a second distribution center with similar signage. We fabricated and installed an aluminum monument sign with four tenant reveal panels and vinyl graphics along with 24″ tall stud-mounted molded plastic logo and address numbers.

Very excited to have the opportunity to complete this project for Louisville Slugger Field! Its always big fun to go out to a Riverbats game with the family and the stadium and facilities look incredible after renovations in 2020. During the install, a heavy windstorm blew in and took off the “L” that was only partially installed, but we reprinted, delivered to the site and installed the same day, just in time for a tight deadline. Come out and see!

This was a fun one for Hounds Town USA in Crestwood, KY. We carefully matched provided corporate Pantone and paint colors with vinyl colors. We applied a matte black vinyl to completely cover most of the windows where the back of an insulated wall would have been showing. Several graphics of doggies were added. After communication with the City Planning department, we maximized the size of the illuminated channel letter sign and matched the color of the raceway to the facade.

Welcome to Part 1 of our 3-part series of our work performed at The Villas at Wyndham Lakes Luxury Apartments in Coral Springs, Florida! We started with a thorough survey of the five existing monument signs to be replaced. The existing signs were built into the walls of the complex in 2 different shapes, and we were tasked with covering these signs with new aluminum monuments with steel frames. After the survey we covered the existing monument signs showing the old name, with banners showing the new branding. The initial proposal could not be approved by the City so we proposed ‘ledge-mounted’ monuments to cover and be bolted to the front of the walls, sit on top of the wall and leave the back side visible.
We designed, cut and installed vinyl graphics on the fitness center walls. Then we routed the lettering for the leasing center sign out of painted PVC, leaving the white lettering exposed, with a slide-in two-sided panel showing different hours of operation for the summer and winter months, all mounted on existing posts we painted to match the new brand colors. Stay tuned for Part 2!

Welcome to part 2 of our 3-part series of our work performed at The Villas at Wyndham Lakes Luxury Apartments. After our survey we decided 3 of the signs would be 15’ wide and 2 would be 10’ wide, covering the existing signs. The original Spanish tile design our customer proposed for the roof, blew the budget, and were replaced with slanted aluminum roofs. Our team suspected the city would not allow our design and logo so we came up with 3 other designs. As we began the permit process in June 2023, the city made further changes to our lettering/logo options and eventually one was settled on. Then City wanted the roof changed to just an aluminum trim to match the color of the walls, cutting a foot off the height of the signs. The city then said the letters and logo had to be aluminum and partially lit, increasing the price several months into the permit process. We then had to show more detail on how the lettering would attach. After it was decided to paint the wall blue, the city wanted the top and bottom trim of our sign to be blue. The city then asked for the “MOVE-IN SPECIAL” panel to be removed. The city then forced us to reduce the 15’ signs to 12’ wide. The city asked for more detail on electrical specs, the Kelvin temperature of the lighting, size of fasteners, separate side view of the logo, brand of glue and colors to be called out on the engineered drawings, mostly in separate requests as more and more folks jumped in with different requests. We received the permit in January 2024. For patience, call On Display Signs. Stay tuned for Part 3 with final photos

Welcome to part 3 of our 3-part series on our sign rebranding work at Wyndham Lakes. At the shop we cut particle board in the shape of the existing signs and used this template to construct the steel frames. After cutting the aluminum sign faces and attaching them temporarily in the shop, we used a paper pattern to drill the holes the dimensional letters and dimensional logos would attach through. The sign frames were then brought onsite and attached to the existing walls, for a Coral Springs inspector to check. We hung temporary vinyl banners to maintain the branding. We had a palm tree that had to be removed. Once all the frames were up…it was was back to the inspector with the city. We counted all the screws with him, showed him sample screws and ultimately had to get new engineered drawings dated within the year. This only took us one day and we were running electric to the new ground lights and to the signs. Next the aluminum sign faces and trim we had pre-built in the shop, were welded to the sign frames. All 5 cabinets were spray textured then painted. Finally, dimensional letters were applied and wiring pulled for the halo-lit bars and logos.

Another big apartment complex rebrand completed, 623 signs surveyed, designed, fabricated and installed at the Carmel Center in Carmel Indiana. All the existing posts were reused and painted the new dark navy, including the street name signs and posts. Because we refaced the original outer shape of the monument sign, our customer requested a similar ‘swoosh’ shape be used for all of the internal and directional signs, with the new colors. Much effort was taken to match paint colors with printed vinyl colors, sampling from the same machines we printed and fabricated with, for a perfect match. We replaced 297 apartment numbers with clear acrylic and the digits printed on the second surface. Once again permitting held up the job, having to go through a 9-week approval process for new colors and new letters on the same size monument sign. The monument was removed completely and, in the shop, was refaced and repainted with new illuminated channel letters.
